Spirit vs Ghost ( The creep factor)

 

The creep factor.

Before I got married, I had dated people who had called my job interesting but slightly creepy( unwise choice). This is why I didn't marry them HAHA. I married the person who loved everything about me, including my interesting job. There's a common misconception about Mediums, ( and Psychics) that we sit around talking to ghosts all day waiting to ambush you at the gas station or post office to tell you who has been pestering us all day. 

I am here to set the record straight. I would never ambush anyone, it's just rude. 

Us Mediums don't sit around talking to ghosts all day. We do talk to Spirits though. There is a difference. Spirit people are people who have passed out of the physical body and who live in the afterlife, aka " The Light". This is where all the Angels, and Spiritual Guides and Ancestors are. There are many names for the Afterlife but Heaven is my favorite. 

Ghosts are NOT the same as Spirits. Ghosts are the people who have passed out of the physical body but not into "The Light". They are hanging out here, without a body and that is bad news !! See , when we are on the physical realms we can eat and sleep and drink water to provide our bodies with the energy our Spirits  need to survive. Then when we don't have a body any longer, we have to get our energy from somewhere. The Light is the source of energy in the afterlife. It is the truest form of currency in existence, and we then tap into it for all of our needs, mentally, emotionally, Spiritually.....If people don't o into the light they will become depleted very quickly. So then where will they get energy if the don't "Go to the Light" to get it?? You got it ! From US. They know that scaring us is an effective way to drum up some excitement/energy. This is why ghosts are so dang scary, they WANT TO BE. They wander around all creepy stealing our energy. They can't help it really, things get desperate for them and they are just trying to hold on to some sense of normalcy. But don't worry, some ghosts if not all are relatively harmless. 

Why do some people not "Go to the Light"? Sometimes our Loved Ones can get stuck between the worlds. This can make everyone's grief bigger.   Attachments to people, places, and things may hold back a Loved One making the transition and ascending into the Heavenly realms. When our bodies die, each of us is presented with a chance to "cross over" but there are times and reasons why, sometimes, someone may not cross and then become stuck. 

Here are some possible reasons: 

1. Confusion: People simply don't realize they have passed out of the body and are in a state of confusion. 
2. Fear: People may be afraid of what is on the other side. They may fear judgement, or letting go of unresolved issues left behind them on earth.
3. Regret: People may be filled with regret about past actions and not want to leave before resolution or before trying to pass a message of regret along. 
4. Suicide:  People who have committed suicide may be confused about what to do to cross over, they may be afraid to do so or they may have been told they won't be able to do so. 
5. Greed: People who don't cross over may have attachments so strong to earthly possessions that they simply can't let go. They may not want to leave a life of luxury, or a life "they worked so hard to build" that they would rather stay nearby for lack of crossing over.
6. Curse or Hex: People can believe they are cursed or hexed and can not even see the Light.
7. Anger: People can be so blinded by strong emotions such as anger that they can not let go of the life they once lived. They could want revenge. They could want to "set the record right" or to "get justice" and be so attached to an outcome that they forfeit the opportunity to go on to the Heavenly realms. 

This is not a comprehensive list by any means but should give you an idea of why some people would choose not to cross over into the light Spiritually. Physical death is inevitable, but Spiritual death is impossible. We all deserve an opportunity to cross over. 

If you think a Loved One has not properly crossed over, please consider a private crossing ceremony. Everybody deserves a chance to be a Spirit not a ghost ! If you think you are being haunted by a ghost... let me help you figure out what's going on !! That's my job ! Then if they need help, because if one of your people has not crossed over into the Light, we can help them... you and I can help them. Ok, well mostly me. You just need to let me know something weird is happening so I can cross them, or expel your ghost if it is someone you never knew.
